This was one of the AI video projects I worked on under a fairly tight deadline. The client needed the video produced within a short timeframe, so I had to develop a workflow that allowed me to move quickly while still maintaining the visual direction of the project.

One of the client's main requirements was to use the face of one of their employees as the main character. I created the character based on the employee's appearance and integrated the character into each scene.

At the time, AI character consistency was still one of the biggest challenges in the process. While the character could be maintained across the different scenes, the consistency was not yet perfect. However, given the limited production time, the priority was to achieve a visually coherent result within the deadline.

My Process

I started by developing the script and translating it into a series of visual prompts for the storyboard. Each scene was planned based on the narrative, camera direction, character actions, and overall visual style.

Once the storyboard was established, I added the previously created character face into each scene and adapted it to fit the environment and composition. After preparing the individual scenes, I generated the video sequence one scene at a time.

The workflow was essentially:

Script → Storyboard Prompts → Character Creation → Scene Generation → Video Generation → Voice Over.

Tools

  • Google Flow — Character creation and visual development

  • Grok — AI video generation

  • ElevenLabs — Voice-over generation

The project was a good example of how AI can be integrated into a fast-paced production workflow. Rather than relying on a single generation, I treated the AI tools as part of a production pipeline, where each stage was prepared and controlled before moving to the next.

There were still limitations, particularly with character consistency, but the workflow allowed me to produce the video much faster than a traditional production process would have allowed under the same deadline
